TYPE L-2 Reed Products Inc
The Type L-2 was standardized by U.S. Army Air Force on May 21st 1945, produced in nylon fabric that DuPont developed in 1934. Intended for use in the Light-zone: climates between 42 degrees and 65 degrees Fahrenheit, it features a leather tab sewn to left front chest for attaching oxygen mask retainer clip and is lined with nylon-wool double-faced fabric for comfortable warmth.
