U.S. NAVY DECK ZIP SEAWATER WASH WORK
This 1942 Deck Jacket became synonymous with WWII U. S. Navy operations around the world. But it is the D-Day landings in Normandy, France on 6 June 1944, where we see so many of this jacket style in one place, being the typical garment of choice among the assault and support boat crews who made that final run in to the deadly shores of Omaha.
The Sea Water Wash Work finish is a process developed by Buzz Ricksons that gives the garment a subtle worn look that will appeal to the discerning customer who appreciates and enjoys wearing a vintage garment of this quality.
