TYPE MA-1
The name MA-1 is one which has become a generic term for just about any style of nylon flight jacket these days. However, as most jacket enthusiasts will know, it is actually specific to one type of military style garment.
The MA-1 is synonymous with the advent of the jet age, and was used in every theatre of operations throughout the 50's, 60's and 70's.
The model offered here is the first 'green-lined' 1958 model by the Lion Uniform Co. (Subsequent models being lined in an orange shade).
