TYPE B-15C OLIVE
With the coming of the jet age just after WWII, and having become an entity of its own in 1947, the then newly designated US Air Force fully embraced this new era in every respect; not least in the advancing technology of flight clothing.
By 1950 the USAF began changing the color of most of its flying clothing from Olive Drab to Air Force Blue. Accordingly, the Olive Drab version of the B-15C was only produced for very short period (utilizing surplus Olive Drab nylon leftover from the B-15B production) and is therefore a very rare model to find as an original.
