The Aviation Associates Coastguard jacket is a civilian style inspired by those military models used by the US Navy border patrols from the 30s and 40s.
Buzz's recreation is one of pure quality. The shell, made from Buffalo hide, is tough but supple which has an exotic grain character that is extremely attractive. The classic shawl collar is made from luxurious amber mouton fleece which is leather backed and trapunto stitched. The warm blanket lining is 26oz 100% wool. Knit storm cuffs sewn up inside the cuff ensure further insulation from the the wind and cold.
