The Aviation Associates Air Transport Coat is a civilian style inspired by those military models used by the US Navy from the 30s and 40s.
Buzz's recreation is one of pure quality. The shell is made from 30oz Melton Wool, with Horsehide trim - a combination that brings together all the traditional styling from the period, creating a truly functional, stylish and comfortable garment . The classic shawl collar is made from luxurious amber mouton fleece which is reinforced with trapunto stitching. The warm quilt lining is made from a deep plum rayon satin, and the knit storm cuffs sewn up inside the cuff ensure further insulation from the the wind and cold.
